Code Enforcement

The City Code Enforcement Officer was created in 2008 to strengthen the compliance of City of Woodlawn Park and Metro Louisville regulations. This office handles the enforcement of city ordinances. Currently Mr. Bill Ritz holds this position.

Mayor Mike Brown was sworn into office on December 20, 2011. Mike was elected to a four year term. Mike served as a city councilperson in 2005 and 2006.

The City welcomes back our full-time Police Chief, Robert L. Heaton. Otherwise known as “Bob”! Bob is well known in our local community having served on the Jefferson County police Department for over 35+ years. Bob retired from Louisville Metro police as a Police Detective after merger and of course, he was Woodlawn Park’s Chief of police back in 2006. Please welcome Bob back! He has already gone out of his way to organize the Police Department office that included passing the Kentucky State Police audit. He continues to go over and beyond to give what he can to our City and it is greatly appreciated! Bob works about 35 hours per week at different times each week.
